How about Creed's Tabarome Millésime?
Thread: Give me a blind buy!
Someone is asking for a Christmas gift idea, and I'm stumped. I don't have time to sample new stuff, but thought I might toss out some cologne idea.
Cigars, falling leaves, smoke, winter...along those lines. Any ideas? Many thanks and happy holidays to all!
How about Creed's Tabarome Millésime?

Not sure about your budget, but aside from the Creed and Tea for Two already suggested (and those are REALLY good suggestions), what about New Haarlem (Bond no. 9)? If that's a little high, the original Gucci PH seems somewhat dark and smokey to me. If you wanted something more economical, maybe even Quorum might work.Originally Posted by fernloth

I'm hopping on the Tea For Two bandwagon for this.

Burberry London would fit pretty well too.
I was surprised to see burberry london low on the list. It was my first thought.
After now having sampled Tea for Two, I find that Burberry London has everything and more (than TfT). Dont get me wrong, awesome scent, but BL has so much more character, imo.
Lately I've been wearing:
Windsor, Bois de Santal, Original Santal, Elixir, Douro, Endymion, Reflection, Arcus, Marwah
It's a great choice... but in my area, I can get it at Neiman-Marcus.Originally Posted by Azsmells

I suggest without any hesitation.....
the other previously mentioned suggestions of Tea for Two, Basala, Gucci PH, Feuilles de Tabac are also strong reccomendations...
may I also add....
MPG's Parfum D'Habit, L'artisan's Eau du Navigateur, Costume National Intense, Nina Ricci's Memoire D'homme, Creed's Baie de Genievre, Ungaro I (if you can manage to find it), LV's Piper Nigrum
Montana Parfum D' Homme !
It's never too late to mend.

It's not Cigars and Smoke, but dang I really liked Bulgari Black. I sampled it tonight and it has some similarities with 2 other good fragrances (Ambre Sultan and Dzing). I wouldn't recommend the latter b/c of the price. Unless you are rich, I would spend 150 bucks on a fragrance that someone may or may not like. I think Black is a great economical choice.
Of ones I have and love, I can definitely agree that these are two solid fragrances that more than fit the bill:
Nina Ricci's Memoire D'homme
Good luck choosing!
Great suggestions! I would like to add the more humble Tabaco Latino by Mavive.
