Default What am I wearing? <a blatent rip-off>

I enjoyed the D4 thread so much I thought I would give it a-go. I might not be as poetic as he, but I shall try.. nonetheless...

"Behold as I grab you with my tangerine twist,
my musky bright sillage will have you sniffing your wrists,
this celebration goes dark as the wooden stakes spring forth,
and the sweetest of sunsets glows bright in the north (struggled for rhyme)"

So, the sun sets in the north in Canada? (j/k)

Anyway, I'm not sure, but just to take a guess, I'll say L'instant de Guerlain.

[QUOTE=rach2jlc]So, the sun sets in the north in Canada? (j/k)

I would suppose that would depend on how many "crown royal" shots I had consumed previously to my self-situating.. <koff> like I said.. awkward rhyme.. I'm not a poet.. I'm a blabbermouth..much different..

and it's not L'instant, good guess though

Hmmmm....Although It's tempting to guess MR by FM, I don't think that it contains tangerine as much as orange.

I'm going with Laguna Homme. It contains most of the referenced notes.

Lol; yeah, it's amazing how alcohol can induce the sun to set in all sorts of strange places.

But, this is a good idea and sort of fun. Perhaps whoever guesses your scent correctly can start a chain and make up a new riddle.

It's not Lalique, MR or Laguna.

I should also add that the first person who guesses correctly, will receive an 8ml decant of it.. for free! (if they want it, that is)

    so far:

    Lalique: No
    MR: No
    Laguna: No
    L'instant: No

    enough L fragrances already...

I'll guess one more: Obsession for Men

At least it's not an "L"

The only thing left that stands out for me from your wardrobe is the all-powerful Minotaure!

    I love scavenger hunts.

Alas I got in on the action too late, but I have some Minotaure to sniff already (thanks to Joel_Cairo).

Anyway I salute the thread! Rip-offs are how culture is made. Incidentally does anyone know what evil genious started the first scent-of-the-day thread?

I'll take you up on this suggestion after the 1st of the year! I'm totally new to decanting but have thought about purchasing supplies to make samples for friends. I'll be investigating where to purchase stuff and get some things after I return from traveling for the Xmas holiday in a few weeks.

It will probably take me that long to write a poem anyway
