Default Need suggestions on scent wife and I will both enjoy

My wife bought me CK's Truth last year, but I don't particularly like it at all. It starts to smell like a real strong deoderant soap after awhile, plus it just doesn't get her going like she thought it would. When we first met, she bought me Cool Water and that did the trick, but we have moved on from that. I have experimented with different scents and the latest is John V. I really like this one, but it seems to last only a couple of hours at most. Any suggestions on a cologne that will get the ladies attention? **Note, I just want my wife to really dig the scent, but if I get comments from other ladies.. that is ok too!

    How about:

    Gucci PH
    Egoiste by Chanel
    Zino Davidoff
    Ungaro II

    and of course the inevitable:

    Kouros by YSL

    HTH

    Eluard

Musc Ravageur from Editions de Parfum Frederic Malle. I think you and your wife would enjoy it together.

Beet lifted jasmine, the way a bullnecked partner lifts a ballerina, and the pair came on stage on citron's fluty cue. As if jasmine were a collection of beautiful paintings, beet hung it in the galleries of the nose, insured it against fire or theft, threw a party to celebrate it. Citron mailed the invitations." Then you might want to sample Jaipur Homme, Santal Noble, and maybe Le Male.

Default Need suggestion: Go Fragrance Shopping Together

I think picking something you might like on the assumption that she would like it too could be a very dicey proposition. I have been married for 14 years, and I am still surprised with what "She who must be obeyed" likes and doesn't like. I suggest you go fragrance shopping together to see what you both like and go from there.

Recently, I bought Antico Caruso and love it. She absolutely hates it and thinks it smells like sulphurous eggs! I was truly shocked, and didn't know what to think or do. So, you never know.

    Joe

PS No, I am NOT going to put it on a swap list at this point!

Going shopping together might be difficult. I would get a few samples containing notes that you both enjoy, and then give them a shot.

I would recommend Chergui by Serge Lutens...I love it.
