    Question Best cologne for 2007

    Hi,

By reading previous posts it seems that JPG Le Male, Michel Germain Sexual and Issy Miyake are really good ones. But I believe you need a rare cologne because girls are used to let's say Acqua di Gio. On top of that, if the girl has had a bad experience with a guy who wore Acqua di Gio it will give her bad memories which will be a disadvantage for you.
So what is really really good now? What scent makes woman rip the clothes of you? What makes them magnetic around you. What makes them turn their head when you are walking by. What makes them ask you what cologne you are wearing?

    Regards, Jenson

I think a much more reasonable investment that will make a woman do whatever you want is a Lamborghini.

i say gaultier2...light...it will be funny if the girl asks if she could try some
but the scent will match the color profile of spring...(neutrals and pastels)
    wishlist:
Chanel - Cuire de Ruissie and Eau de Cologne
Penhaligons - Quercus, Castille, and Raquets
Dior -Eau Noire, Dior Homme Cologne, Dior Homme Intense, and Dior Sweet Sun
Frédéric Malle - Angelique sous la pluie and Eau d'Hiver
    L'Artisan - l'eau de l'artisan and bois farine
Hermès - Elixir des Merveilles, Jardin sur Nil, and Hermessence Confret.

Seriously, the best investment would be

    1. Personal trainer
    2. Good wardrobe
    3. Nice apartment
    4. Ability to cook
    5. Egoiste by Chanel

And if you dont have nice personality, none of these will help

If you get a life and take a shower at least a few times a week! These just might help.

Did we really say that? If so, I'm not doing my part. Just kidding, but if you want a "rare' fragrance, please realize those three amongst fragrances about as rare or unique as a pair of Levi's.

I'd say try Gucci PH, Dior Homme, or Helmut Lang Cuiron. They have distinction and you're not as likely to run into 17 people wearing the same fragrance. Go out with Le Male or Miyake and you'll just blend in (plus, every gay man I know owns and loves Le Male and applies it liberally. I'm guessing that's NOT the dynamic for which you're searching).

Finally, keep in mind that there is no fragrance (or clothing item, shoe, etc) that will do any of the things you mentioned. Confidence and personality do most and a fragrance can only enunciate what is already within the wearer. True story: the worst person I've ever met also was amongst the wealthiest and wore the best cologne. He wore Creed, he wore Guerlain, and nevertheless nearly everybody always mentioned how bad he always smelled.

So, find what "fits" with you and what you feel confident and good wearing.

I agree (for someone who doesn't go for the girls). However, Egoiste does it...an unsung gem in my opinion.

Amen. Those with charisma and magnetic personalities radiate confidence and display it in their body language.

Recommendations:Terre d'Hermes, Allure PH, Navegar, and Bulgari Acqua.

It seems women love sentemental and confident men. As articulated earlier, a fragrance only enunciates those qualities...

As for frags, my current crush for 2007 is Black 360.

Wow, that's quite a recommendation. That's not my first thought when asked for an alternative to ADG.

"I'm tired of my Subaru, what do you recommend?"
"Perhaps Maybach would be a good choice."

Just kidding; what I've smelled of Le Labo, which hasn't been much, nevertheless has been pretty great.
