    Thumbs up Encre Noire Lalique

A Scent Dedicated To Vetiver. I Find It Smokey Sweet And Even Sensual.
Its A Modern Interpretation Of Vetiver. Excellent Bottle Too.
    I Would Like Your Opinions.

Mario, in his thread, http://community.basenotes.net/newre...reply&p=954449, put up this one:

Let me report back when the basenotes set in. So far, good but not distinct and certainly not worth the big bucks, at least so far.

Not a fan of pure vetiver scents, yet there is something appealing....
I'm a vetiver lover, and I love scents that aspire to ink smell, but I'm wary of this one because of Mario's review. I found Kenzo Air boring and a one note minimalist scent doesn't attract me. I'll check out Encre Noire for sure though.

HELLO CHRIS. I THINK THAT ENCRE NOIRE HAS NOTHING TO DO FIRST WITH INK THE SMELL I MEAN AND SECOND WITH KENZO AIR. KENZO AIR SMELLS NOTHING BUT AIR ITS LIKE U HAVE NO SCENT BUT ENCRE NOIRE IS A SUBTLE DELICIOUS VETIVER .
HERE IS A REVIEW FROM boisdejasmin.

    Best Masculine Release
The vetiver in Lalique Encre Noire has such a magnificent darkness that it reminds me of chocolate. This classical composition is embellished with a touch of inky blackberry, which weaves a pleasing sweetness into the darkness of rich vetiver and woods. Moreover it wins a few additional points for a striking black flacon.

Yesterday i bought the edt,edp is available only in France,is limited edition 60 ml and it costs 495 euros!
The first impression reminds me some Vetiver Extraordinaire but not overpowering, after is sweeter and then i smell something like chocolate!
I think is must a try for vetiver lovers and the bottle georgeous also.
