Default Prastara Blue by Douglas Hopkins

Anyone try Prastara Blue by Douglas Hopkins? It has some of my favorite notes: Coconut, Vanilla, Almond, Cinnamon, Cedar

I own this one. The scent is so masterfully blended that I can hardly pick up any individual notes or perhaps it's just a lack of training, who knows ;-) Anyway the mentioned notes may lead you to imagine Prastara Blue is a sweet scent, but I find it to be actually surprisingly fresh and clean similar to some high quality soap. To my nose PB smells powdery and more floral than citrusy or woody and also somehow ageless. This scent could have been around for a century or two and yet it doesn't smell any oldish at all - just very different to the current mainsteam scents.

    Regards,
    Tero

You're most welcome! I hope my short review helped you a bit - you know, I'm not an expert when it comes to olfactory descriptions. I came to think that although they don't smell any similar to each other Helmut Lang for men has a similar fresh-clean-floral-powdery-vanillic structure as Prastara Blue...
