Default How Bowling Green stacks up against other Fresh Fougeres

I notice Bowling Green is mentioned when people post looking for a scent with pine and I like pine notes as well. I reviewed the notes and notice it has juniper and fir also. My question is how does it compare to other Fresh Fougeres fragrances. I have had Drakkar Noir, Xeryus, Tuscany, Calvin...the list goes on. I am wondering if it has an eighties vibe given that it was out in 86. I do remember smelling it once and thinking it was ok.

Bowling Green does NOT have an eighties vibe, IMO (although my fond memories of it were from my youth, in the '80s). More classic, tennis in the Hamptons vibe, I think.

One of my favorite greens - as good as Lancome's "Trophee" the GREEN of green's.

Yep, that last post was perfect - the Hamptons/tennis description is on target.

Aramis Devin is the scent that I remember to be both pine-y and rather 80's
