Default Wanted: Mint, citrus, fresh and not too sweet

I am running out of my Versace green jeans. I like the fact that you can wear it every day, not get a headache from it at all. I didn't like the fact that it was a little simple and seemed to disapear too quickly. Looking for citrus (more grapefruit and or lemon than burnt orange), minty, fresh but also have some sophistication and some sexyness rolled in. Any hints. Have been thinking of XS by paco but haven't tried it yet.

YSL Live Jazz is the scent that best fits your description. I say buy a decant and give it a go. While you're at it, grab a decant of XS. Each one can be had for around $10, so there isn't much risk.

Its expensive and hard to get hold of but selection verte by creed is superlative mint and citrus. Also citron citron by miller harris.

There are good suggestions here and I'd second each of them. Live Jazz bottles can be found pretty cheaply in our metropolitan area by checking out Perfumania shops.

I am a big fan of L'Occitane's The Vert A La Menthe. Very high dose of the mint in with the tea, and but there is some orange in there for your desired citrus component. Fresh and green, long-lasting on me. Give it a try, I think you have a L'Occitane near you at Georgetown.

I'd say that you could try Iceberg Twice as well in addition to Live Jazz which ofcourse is a great suggestion...When i think mint these two come to my mind instantly...Prestige Jazz is another one that apparently has mint listed in its top notes but this beauty is still in my mail...so cant really recommend it until i try...

Live Jazz is good, but at times the coriander in it can dominate.

Iceberg Twice is a very cheap, but great option. Its sweet mint, but not too sweet. Definitely worth checking out.

Creed Selection Verte is fantastic and probably exhibits the most realistic mint note ever, but its quite pricey.

La Base for Him is a fantastic frag based off of a geranium/mint combo. Very fresh and unusual. Highly recommended.

As always, disregard most of what I say. It's not worth your heart health to actually worry about what a 23 year old guy from Kansas thinks. Even if he is really ridiculously good looking.

I would recommend Eau de Menthe by Heeley...dead ringer for your desire.

Glad to see someone else enjoy L'Occitane's Mint and Tea! I agree, it is a wonderful one. L'Occitane doesn't seem to get enough love here. I do need to spend more time sniffing their unisex frags - I am surely glad I took a whiff of the Mint and Tea, just on a whim.

Lacoste Booster is a possible answer but be prepared to spray a lot:not very potent stuff...

Almost every post is claiming that Live Jazz is great. You need to remember though that its longevity is horrible, by the approximation of most. So you might want to try one of the other suggestions instead.

Original Sergio Tacchini could also fit the description IMO.

LOL! I basically agree that we should not let experience get in the way!

That said, Herba Fresca from Guerlain's Aqua Allegoria series is also fresh and herbal-minty, and I prefer it to Mentafolia for summer wear. Another one not mentioned that recently shocked me for its minty note is L'Artisans L'Eau du Caporal. Sadly, this is apparently discontinued now and difficult to get, though decants are still available from sellers here.
