Default Lubin - How do they do it?

I'd appreciate very much if someone could tell me how the house of Lubin works. I mean: Look at the fragrances that are listed on Basenotes. All of them are marked "discontinued", except one: Idole de Lubin. And on the review site for Idole one can read: "Lubin's 466th fragrance [...]." So what's the story behind this house? Thanks in anticipation.

I believe it's a very house that went dark and was resurrected. I've read that the original Lubin has nothing to do with the new one (created by Olivia Giacobetti).

    Hope that helps.

    Makes sense...

Meanwhile, Giacobetti's Idole alone is enough to justify the revival. An amazing scent.

Nothing on the multimedia gives away another entity bankrolling Lubin but it's probably Muelhens and they don't want to associate.... I'm thinking out loud.
