Default Something similar to Van Cleef & Arpels pour Homme

Any suggestions as to another frag that is as subtle w/ floral elements and refined and classy as Van Cleef & Arpels pour Homme?

Trussardi Uomo and Cartier's original Santos are cut from the same cloth as VC&A. I used to wear VC&A in the early 80's, but I find it too over-the-top for me now. I have replaced it with the Trussardi. The other fragrance you might try is Oscar de la Renta pour Lui - another beautiful, very classy scent from the 80's.

    Trussardi Uomo

Leonard pour Homme (though not so floral)

These three are very similar to eachother.

Try out Guerlain's L'Heure Bleue. I think it's a deeper, earthier, nuttier, and thoughtful version of VC&A.

    My suggestion also.
However to my nose, Léonard is more floral, and VC&A more spicy.

Classy and refined, Chanel's Antaeus is basically Van Cleef and Arpels with a lot of roses. Antaeus is sweeter and "redder" where VC&A is more dry and herbal and "dark green".

Antaeus is actually very similar to Curzon by Geo F. Trumper.

    Yes regarding the Trussardi Uomo.

May I also suggest Lauder for Men. The floral elements are more pronounced + patchouli but not so much leather.

Trussardi Uomo is a good call I agree.

Equipage is similar as well. To me the dominant quality in these is dry, soapy, floral and masculine.

    I'd suggest "Jazz" by YSL.
