Default Gaultier's Le Male and Caron's Pour Un Homme: comparison

Since I'm searching the classics (just made a topic about Moustache):

I don't like Le Male; better saying, it's not my cup of tea. Considering its lavender and vanilla elements, I wish to know if Caron's Pour Un Homme is very different from it; if it's very close, I'm sure if is not worth for me. But the reviews make it seem like much better stuff to my eyes, so that's my question.

Caron PuH to me is primarily lavender and vanilla, although I pick up rose and musk notes too. Le Mâle strikes me as spicy-sweet in a gourmand sort of way and not particularly similar to PuH. I enjoy both, however.
