I discovered another long-laster (an old one that has somehow escaped me until now)...Clinique Aromatics Elixir. Total stonker of a pong...definitely an acquired taste, I think, but it really works for me. I could never have worn this one when I was in my 20s, but I seem to be developing a taste for heavier fragrances as I get older. This one is a new favourite for me (though there is still no fragrance to touch Shocking...that one stands out above all the rest, and gets incredible comments whenever I wear it).

Love this expression although I'm not too sure what it means!! You Brits have such great words....

I just re-discovered Toujours Moi - a round, slumberous Oriental that lasts all day on me - and that's a record. (And would ditto KBE's take on Montana Pour Homme - to which he has me addicted.)

Pong means smell (usually meant in a bad way, but I meant it in a good one!). Stonker - stonking - not sure really. I mean it as 'huge'. What other people mean is up to them really.

I discovered Le Baiser du Dragon on my travels this summer. Love it. That's a laster as well. Really unusual, and warm and sensual and luscious. Yummed it up, I did.

    Yes, I think so.

Anything I have or have tried that has Patchouli in the base lasts well...

The fragrances I've tried by Hermes all last a long time, but I forget how the Un Jardin unisex samples I had worked out, it's been a while and I gave them to my girlfriend.
