Default Le Baiser Du Dragon - New solid perfume

I recently visited a perfume and bottle collectors trade fair here in berlin.
One trader was selling a small oval metal case sheped exactly like the bottle cap on LBDD. It opens out to reveal a solid wax pure perfume, ( 1gm ). It is extremely heavy for its tiny size, like a paperweight ! - making it an impracticle item to carry around in a handbag or pocket .
Neverthelees I really like the appeal of a ` solid ´ perfume and the weight of it makes it feel very classy.I bought one and it only cost € 8.
I asked today in the Cartier boutique about this product and they had never heard of it.
Then the sales assistant phoned the german hq in munich and was told it was a brand new item due to be launched here in july. I am assuming it has been produced with the
moslem community in mind, (since their religion does not allow them to wear alcohol based perfumes).
In greece you can find everywhere tiny pots of solid wax perfumes. They are all copies of classic perfumes and are very accurate.

Does it smell any different than the LBdD scent?

I, too, would like to know this.

I've seen a solid Cartier Le Baiser du Dragon perfume on eBay, is that the same as the one you bought, or a different one?

This is really nice news! I will be very quick to try the solid perfume when it arrives to the stores! Thanks for sharing!

One of my mom's favourite, this could be a future option for a present. ^^

Thanks for your interest and sorry for the delay in replying.
Yes it smells exactly like the fluid version. However, as a solid extrait, (at least I was told it was that) it smelt softer / milder than the fluid extrait.
As a gift idea, the heavy, luxurious feel of it in the hand makes it perfect. But remember, 1gm is a very tiny amount !
To the person who asked - I did not buy this on ebay, I bought it at a perfume trade fair in berlin.

I haven't heard of it yet, but if it does come out, oh my gosh! I'll wear it as a necklace.
