Creed Cypres-Musc, but I think that the longevity monster YSL Rive Gauche clings to me from last night (not in a bad way, I might quickly add)
L'Instant de Guerlain pour homme
“Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.”
~ Robert Brault
To celebrate my 2,222nd post on Basenotes, I thought that it would only be fitting to wear a scent with the number 2 in its name.
So, Gaultier² it is!
Sometimes a certain smell will take me back to when I was young,
How come I'm never able to identify where it's coming from,
I'd make a candle out of it if I ever found it,
Try to sell it, never sell out of it, I'd probably only sell one

Where once there was no scents to it all, now the world opens before me!
Original Vetiver! Such a glorious day!
You are not your perfume.
Bois du Portugal (Creed)
J. Peterman 1903, a continuing testing experience.
It's sort of a cool day today so I'll wear one of my favorite cool-weather frags: L'Air du desert Marocain.
De gustibus non est disputandum
Parfumerie Generale Querelle
The much maligned H.M. . Me likes it!
"We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion: the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission; which is the stage of the darkest periods of human history, the stage of rule by brute force." Ayn Rand...
"The essence of fascism is to make laws forbidding everything and then enforce them selectively against your enemies."
Rive Gauche pour Homme [Jacques Cavallier, 2003]
"He was some kind of a man... What does it matter what you say about people?"
Buy my extra scents - mainly niche - over 50 items (tiny bottles)
I'm wearing Ambre et Vanille by E.Coudray today.
I've trademarked the color bleu
Wore Borneo 1834 by Serge Lutens today - because it was rainy and this scent makes me feel a little bittersweet and sad...don't know why.
Started out wearing Vetiver Eau Glacee by Guerlain but I stumbled in to a store that carries some hard to find frags and ended up wearing:
L Wrist: Creed Original Santal
R Wrist: Dior Eau Noir
Santal smelled a lot better on the paper than on my wrist, it's too aquatic for my liking. I thought it was going to have more sandalwood (or at least have it very dominant). On my skin it smells like a generic aquatic citrus. Pardon my blasphemy of a Creed.
Eau Noir is nice but I'm on the fence about it. I like the spices but the vanilla is a little much. I may end up buying this some day. But I will require more testings.
I got to test a lot of great frags too. A heap of Creeds (BdP, OV, MI, Tabarome), Kiton Black, Art of Shaving's Sandalwood and the Dior trio.
