Kouros eau D'ete
Purple Patchouli by Tom Ford (sample 11 of 12)
Where once there was no scents to it all, now the world opens before me!
Diptyque : The Essence of John Galliano
I bought a bottle of this couple of months ago. Although it is officially a room spray, I really enjoy this one as a personal fragrance. The complexity on my skin is no worse than with many EdT`s or EdP`s I know. It has even somekind of developing qualities. Sure it is a bit "raw" scent, but that is just fine. Lasts a long time too - whole day through, actually.
Straight from the bottle (+couple of hours) this is strikingly similar to the smell you get when you rub some especially smoky and peaty Scotch whiskey on your hand; later on it turns a bit more insence like scent with obvious hints of birch tar and iris.

I'm in Musc Ravageur, but today it smells sweeter than usual on me. I have not worn this for several weeks due to an adverse reaction to coumarin, but thus far I have no perfume rash today.

I'm wearing Tam Dao today.
I've trademarked the color bleu
DSH - Fleurs de Mure on one wrist/arm - Black Leather on the opposing. The blackberry flowers are sweet and light - the leather dark, the tanning chemicals still clinging - could use a bit of sweat. But have only had it on for a half hour and these DSH's usually take an hour or so to truly bloom.

"Like a lobster with a pearl in its claw, the beet held the jasmine firmly without crushing or obscuring it. Beet lifted jasmine, the way a bullnecked partner lifts a ballerina, and the pair came on stage on citron's fluty cue. As if jasmine were a collection of beautiful paintings, beet hung it in the galleries of the nose, insured it against fire or theft, threw a party to celebrate it. Citron mailed the invitations."
