Feeling already now bit uncomfortable looking at the ''cowboy guy'' print on the bottle...it's on the edge wether I should consider this as a sincere attempt on adding some masculinity to the bottle or just a tacky camp humour, nevertheless definitely not my cup of tea.
In my opinion the older bottle was so much more appealing than this one...but then again this is just my personal opinion.

and i suppose the box is a slim jim wrapper? maybe it's a little leather jerky pouch.

but ooh - a leather wrapped bottle? with little embroidery like a boot? THAT would be cool. are you listening mr. tauer?

That bottle made me laugh. I don't think that's the intended reaction, no? Now if only they'd advertised it using homoerotic images from Brokeback Mountain, I'd run out to buy it right now. *growls*

I guess in hindsight, another option for the image could have involved cacti - some grow into homoerotic shapes.

My bottles tend to stay in their boxes and in drawers so I really don't mind what the bottle looks like - it's the juice baby!! That said, that card the was included with Reverie au Jardin has a place of honor on my refrigerator - wowee wow wow!!

Can't bring myself to be mean, because I adore Andy's work, but I must say that when I buy this, as I decided I someday must after one test, I'll split it and be generous enough
to pass on the half with the bottle.

So Socal- what's the card w Reverie?

Lonestar is my favourite Tauer scent and I'll always keep it in stock... but that new bottle looks ineffably cheap and gross. Bah.

I had a bf just before current bf who could do one-handed pushups. I routinely drove 100 miles to see him for three hours.

    But still, this bottle.....kinda cheesy.

As long as he doesn't glue his love for Jake or Ennis on the bottle I won't comment.
(just curious: why has this been moved to the ladies' board?)

Jaelynn - you made me spit my drink.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it a unisex scent? If so, the cowboy may be a bit off putting to women. What was the old bottle like?

Well one time I popped a little blue pill and I found that I could do pushups with NO hands!

not a fan of this bottle... I was going to buy L'Air du Desert but I hate the bottle for that one as well-- I actually hated the old bottle a little less.

The old one was a bit more "clunky" looking-- maybe more squarish. Also the cap on the old L'Air du Desert was more clunky and roundish looking (I only saw pictures). I just don't like the new bottles and caps.

Of course, I have a blind purchase of SMN Nostalgia coming today, and from the picture I've seen-- it might be the worst looking bottle/ lettering font/etc I've ever seen (Which is sad because some of the old SMN's have gorgeous bottles. Nostalgia's looks terrible, though maybe it will be nice when I see it in person. But I can't help it-- my mom used to be a calligrapher/sign painter --and these kinds of aesthetic considerations are a big deal to me.

Ah, that card! Think I saw it when I was reading about the launch. Can't remember if the rumor was true that the torso was Andy's.

I'll let you know when I spring Tommi.I haven't even tried it on me yet, but two drops on my long suffering masculine fragrance model and I was undone.
