    Default Sweet Spring water...?

Please can you suggest / recommend scents that encapsulate / smell like water?

I am not seeking watery florals, I already know many of those (TBS Cotton White, Issey Miyake L'Eau D'Issey, Kenzo Parfum D'Ete, etc). Nor am I looking for briny sea water / beach scapes (CK Escape, Worth Sans Adieu, Armani Acqua di Gio, etc).

I am looking for scents that evoke pure, sweet water in all it's delicate transparency.

    Thank you.

Yup. The Snow I have from Demeter smells cold, wet and slightly minerally. The father of Demeter offers five scents within his Water Series including Snow and Water.

My suggestion: L'eau d'hiver - Frederic Malle. I filled out their online questionnaire and rc'd a most generous sample of this lovely fragrance. At first, it was a little too, but I found myself craving it and smelling my wrists constantly. I now love it and am trying to ration the last of the 5ml sample until I can afford more!
    Good luck!

I second the CB I Hate Perfume Water accords and I will also recommend Demeter Steam Room.

I think the L' Eau d'Hiver by Malle is a little too 'powdery' to evoke water to my nose...but it does have that light, transparent (minimalist?) smell to it.

Moondeva, I highly suggest you to try Eau de Rochas, a very fresh chypre from 1970.
Each time I wear it, I feel like refreshing under a waterfall.

    Perfumes notes from scentdirect.com:

Top: Basil oil, Bergamot oil, Fruit Notes, Lemon, Mandarin
Heart: Carnation, Coriander, Jasmin, Patchouli, Sandal
    Base: Amber, Musk, Oakmoss

Ever since we went offline Moondeva, I've been thinking about this thread. Did you 'find' your perfect sweet spring water fragrance? If so, what is it? Do share.

    Yeah! Didja???

(Been exploring Yves Rocher recently - grace a TWolf - and they've two aquatics that sound promising.

Ming Shu: Olfactive Family: Transparent Floral Aquatic.
    Head Notes: Marine Note, Peach.
    Mid Note: Water Lily.
    Base Notes: Cedar, Musk.

    and

    Transat: Olfactive Family: Aquatic Aromatic.
    Head Note: Rosemary.
    Mid Note: Marine Accord.
    Base Notes: Ambers and Woods.

So cheeeep - and the ones I've tried (the Peony and Ode a L'Amour) are first class, are so worth it and more.

But you probably already knew that!!

What about Bobbi Brown's Bath EDT? it's very clean, relaxing and watery.
