Default You get what you pay for

These are the facts, ladies & gentlemen.

When more of us subscribe as supporting members-the more likely Grant will be able to avoid situations like the current one where the boards may or may not be down for a long periord of time.

Someone challenged me many months ago (when I penned a query about why more members are not SUPPORTING MEMBERS ) and said more or less that it should be up to people's comfort levels as to whether or not they would like to pay.

Well, considering the demographics and the disposable income of said audience as a factor, 9 out of 10 us can very well pay up and help Grant avoid this mess.

Yes, indeed. I totally agree with this. I know everyone has their own circumstances, but $50 per year (or $5 per month) is seriously nothing. One less Starbucks latte per month. The fact that the problem stems from the site becoming immensely popular shows that there are lots of people interested in the site & its content. Show some love for all that Grant & Danielle do for us!

I agree with you , the price you pay is miniscule , if you look at all the wealth of information that is available.

If I had a credit card or a job, I'd support this site. $5 a month is pocket change, and it would really help the site.

    I seriously need a job =(

Yep, I really missed the site while it was down and out. Thanks again Grant and Danielle.

The things I have learned from other members and the friends I have made are priceless. In that light, $50/year is well worth it.

Funds right now are bad on my side, but as soon as things are looking up, I'll gladly contribute. I haven't been on a forum before that's been this laid back, polite and welcoming. I can't think of a reason why not to donate. Will do ASAP though.
