    Default Après l'Ondée for men

    Hello men

Do any of you use Guerlain's Après l'Ondée? If so, what's your impression of it, compared to, say, l'Heure Bleue? Is it more flowery or in the same genre?

BTW: would love to share my new myspace with you: http://blog.myspace.com/monsieurguerlain

That's a wonderful collection you have there Ulrik. Thanks for sharing those pics.

Sorry I can't comment on Apres L'Ondee for men. On me I do find some similarities in ALO to L'heure Bleue, especially in the initial blast -- it's the hint of the anise that they have in common.

BTW, did you purchase the Guet Apens and the Metallica?

Can't help with the Apres Londee, but what a fantastic collection you have there.

I love the lim.edition bottles, especially the Vetiver in the 500 ml bees bottle.

Yep, I sometimes wear Apres l'Ondee, although I have to be in the right kind of mood for it's melancholy reflectiveness. The dry bittersweet of the hawthorn mixed in with the faintest of violet accords is beautifully created. It doesn't smell feminine at all on me.

Off to look your 'myspace' now.

I love it and wear it. I would say it´s one of the powderiest of Guerlains creations. Delicate and natural, just like the smell of a freshly rained on hawthorn bush.

    Hi all!

Thanks for your nice words about my blog.

Dimples: I am CLOSE to buying Metallica, it sounds just like me on description!

And Eric: Actually the 500 ml beebottle is just a very normal one that you can always buy at the Guerlian store. I regret that I didn't buy it in 250 ml gold bottle...

I have it and have worn it a few times. I agree with Prince Barry that it doesn't smell feminine on me. It is really quite beautiful and subtle.

Very nice pictures! I especially love the Derby. Is the bee bottle the new version?
    I've trademarked the color bleu

Yes, the bee bottle is the new edition. Very good formulation, very strong and long lasting, spicier that the original.

I guess I gotta go for the Après l'Ondée then!!

Après l'Ondée is a must-have. I wear it very often, it's one of my "mood-lifting" fragrances. Very wearable for a man.

I am able to get some of the discontinued Après l'Ondée pure perfume - does anyone know if it is very different from the EdT?
