The most- complemented fragrance in my 50+ wardrobe...
Bogart Pour Homme.
Are you not entertained??? Is this not why you are here??
What is a most complemented fragrance? I got so many fragrances at home...from Creed to Frederic Malle to Serge Lutens to the non niche fragrances...People give only one time a compliment (in the office or friends)...maybe i wear a nice fragrance and smell good and somebody don´t give a compliment...i wouldn´t do...i would think for myself...wow what a nice scent...i would find out which one is this...by smelling!!!

Silver Mountain Water for a date with my dentist. Aaaarrgghh - I hope he isn't too cruel today .....
Typhoon Signal Number 8 is hoisted in Hong Kong.
It is windy and rainy. I am wearing Lancome's Mille et Une Roses today from a very generous basenoter. It is an abstract rose which is not too sweet or feminine.
Have a happy Friday!
Gardenia Musk for a lovely sunny day. Shame I am at work.

"Like a lobster with a pearl in its claw, the beet held the jasmine firmly without crushing or obscuring it. Beet lifted jasmine, the way a bullnecked partner lifts a ballerina, and the pair came on stage on citron's fluty cue. As if jasmine were a collection of beautiful paintings, beet hung it in the galleries of the nose, insured it against fire or theft, threw a party to celebrate it. Citron mailed the invitations." Rentboy you most definitely are flying in style! Hope you got a chance to visit "our" Barneys or Colonial Drug (or L'Occitane, Diptyque, etc.) while you were here... Safe travels.
For me today, Neil Morris Fragrances Le Parfum C'est Ma Vie . Classic French-style perfume from his "vault" of scents he's made over the last many years. Although it definitely skews feminine, I think a man could wear this on the right day, or in the right frame of mind.
Top Notes: Aldehydes, Raspberry, Plum Blossom
Heart Notes: Bulgarian Rose, Freesia, Narcissus, Peony and Lotus
Base Notes: Dark Amber, Sheer Musk
It’s thought that people who hope too much will just waste their life away and never get down to doing any real work. They’re confusing Hope with Wish, its lazy cousin... When Wish whispers, “Something is just around the corner,” what comes or not is never what was wished for. When Hope whispers “Something is just around the corner,” something always is. -- Charlie Elberson

This scent has grown on me. Wasn't too keen on it originally but now find myself going back to it. Fits perfectly in the office.

Mystery Frag for me today. See, all the samples you wonderful guys have sent me live on my computer desk and in the night? When nobody's watching? They integrate. So I don't know which of you sent me this stubby little 2 ml. bottle with a hand written label that had one word on it in European writing that may have said something like "Tangelo" - not quite legible and then got smudged from leakage.
Anyway, it's divine!! Starts out a light floral and morphs into a light chocolate vanilla that still retains some flowers and a hint of musk. Yumsters and thank you!!
