    Default Fragrance for evening/night/date

Hi, maybe you can help me. Im looking for some fragrance wich is good in evening/night and can be perfect at date . Something like woman magnet. No I dont have problems to date a woman, but why dont it make perfect?
I bought Guccis Envy, wich was 2 times the best evening fragrance. But I dont think it is good for date. I take it when i go to job.
Iam young - 21 so iam looking for something for me. But i dont want nothing sweet. I dont wanna smell like girl. Iam big guy (body) so it would be a little funny to smell sweet .
Fragrance should be not to strong, but it should smell all night not only 2 hours. Then woman should like it, like aphrodisiacum . Ok i hope you understand and maybe you help me.

If this topic is here, then iam sorry, i was looking and i didnt find it.
    And sorry for my english

hm it seems that Armani code or M7

but again iam only 21, big body, a little romantic but iam MEN you know what i mean.. but i dont want fragrances for 30-40 y.o. man it dont smell good on young men
and you know it is funny go to shop with list of 20 fragrances that you want to test and when i read reviews on basenote. then there are 10 rev. like: "Oooh man this is excelent fragrance", and then come one like: "Blah this stinks like lipstick" or "It is too sweet like for girls" and iam afraid that the smell is not good
so ok for now AC and M7, but i wait for another ppl who wirite here maybe they give somethink interesting

    thank you for now

You could try woodsy types if you're trying to avoid sweet.. like Gucci pour Homme or Azzaro Visit.

Try Kouros, Rive Gauche (reg. or Intense), Musc Ravageur, Aura of Patchouli, or Monsieur Musk (cheap but good). In any case, all the scents listed above are strong -- apply with a light hand, especially Kouros and Rive Gauche.

You're too young for Antaeus, else I'd recommend that.

    Latrelle: "What?"
Peggy: "Brother Boy has tried to kill himself. He jumped out of his bedroom window."
Latrelle: "Isn't he only on the second floor?"
Peggy: "Yes, but he hit his head on a lawn gnome."

Gucci PH, so strong and manly that even if she'll fell that scent again in 30 or 40 years she'll be complelled to stop and think of you and of the night you had together.

TVLBoy, I completely agree with you: if our friend here was in his 30' I would recommended Anteus.

    Greetings

Sorry to nag you, but he clearly stated that he didn't want anything sweet and most of these fall under the sweet-very sweet category, don't you think?

and i forgot ask.. what about Pi? or it is too sweet vanilla?

Pi is all about benzoin with its vanillish almondy medicinal sweeteness, no good at all if you want something dry.
Better you to stay among fougère or woody fragrances as
    Narciso Rodriguez for him
    Tumulte PH
    Lancome Miracle PH
    Prada PH
    Issey Miyake Eau Blue
    Guerlain Coriolan
    Guerlain Vetiver
    Cartier Santos

Whenever I wear Guerlain's Derby I get compliments from women... It's marked as a fougère (that equals delicate, tender), but it has leather and spices which makes it perfect for the evening.

Derby is a beautify scent, but it's rather formal and not necessarily very wearable by a 21-year old.

Fern has no smell at all so of course I didn't mean 'mean' in that sense! God you Basenoters can be so lecturing and patronizing sometimes!

When I was 21, I liked 'strange' or 'surprising' scents. That's why I suggested it...

How about Polo Double Black by RL? I think that it smell great for young men, quite masculine and not so sweat. The only problem is that it does not last so long.

You know what you should do? If this fragrance is for a one particular girl, then you should try to know which fragrance she finds romantic and likes it. We can give yie here a lot of brands and advice, but if she doesn't like it at all, then you would be doomed. But if you ask for general then there are a lot of fragrances that you can use, but first of all you should like it yourself. If you get something according to the advices here, but after buying it if you don't feel like that you are smelling as you like then you won't be comfortable. Anyhow after all the bla bla whatI can advice you is:
Fendi Uomo; it was once womens choice as a very romantic fragrance.
YSL Kouros; I'm not sure if you might like it.
    YSL Rive Gauche
    Pierre Cardin Pour Monsieur.
If you can find there, then give it a try to Derrick and Jovan Sex Appeal.

today i bought M7 at first i didnt like it, but after few second it was great now i totally like it

btw. for me is better order it from some e-shop in my country, because we dont have here "big perfumerias", yeah we have sephora and marionnaud, but it is and i think nothing more..
but when you order it from eshop,y ou can take it personaly from their shop, or they can deliver it to your home/office, but you cant try it
