    Default Paco Rabanne Tnr Notes?

Does anybody know all the notes in this? Both our Directory and Osmoz don't list them. I know there's some rose and white florals, some patchouli, maybe honey or beeswax; but that's as far as I get on my own. I'd love to see the real skinny on this one, guys.

Thanks a million! Where did you find this information? I'd love to find more sources for this kind of knowledge.

Thanks for the link. Amazingly, I can get more than half the notes (since a lot of the names of perfume ingredients seem to be borrowed from other European languages), and have figured out the words for "men's" and "women's." Also, I guess "-puu" means "wood" as in "sandlipuu," which I assume is sandalwood, always there among the basenotes.

I had some Finnish friends once who claimed they could understand Estonian. I guess the two are related; trouble was, the FInns loved to poke fun at the Estonians, which didn't go over so well with the Estonians!

Do you speak Estonian, or do you have some Google machine-translation program do it into English for you?

It's such a bloody difficult language (hey and I'm half German!) it would take me thirty years to learn. No, as you say, many terms can be inferred from German, French or English, and for the others I consult an Eesti-English dictionary. The database contains an amazing number of fragrances, I was surprised something like this would exist for a market as small as Estonia.
    Nahk is leather btw

The parfyym site is one of my favorites; you can also get the same information on Tenere and many older fragrances from Scent Direct:

Yeah, nahk is leather, võhumõõgajuur is orris root, mesi is honey, apelsinõis is orange blossom, maikelluke is lily of the valley, aednelk is carnation (like German Nelke, I guess), rohelised noodid is green notes, and tammesammal is oakmoss. I guess vürti is spice or spicy (Würzel).

Amazing what a little comparison of databases can do, even without a bilingual dictionary.

Thanks again. The only thing as much fun for me as perfume is languages.
