There's a thread from last year about booze notes in fragrances, and I remember us starting a 'boozy note in fragrance' thread on the emergency Basenotes site...so I thought I'd create a brand new one - perhaps with newer and more obscure fragrances that smell like booze (liquor, alcohol, whateveryouwannacallit...).
Scents mentioned before, that have prominent booze notes are:
Voleur de Roses (?! not me, but to some others...), Fou d'Absinthe and Patchouli by L'Artisan
Parfum D'Habit by MPG
Arsenal by Ayana Moriel
Sables by Annick Goutal
Relax by Davidoff
Rum Tonic by Malin + Goetz
Nicole Miller for Men
Escada Pour Homme and Magnetism by Escada
Egoiste by Chanel
JHL and Havana by Aramis
Vendetta Pur Homme by Valentino
London by Burberry
White by Cdg
Lubin by Idole
Velvet Rope by Apothia
Bay Rum cologne (any brand)
Those Demeter alcohol related scents (Gin and Tonic, Sex on The Beach, blahblahblah)
I will add to this list: Sake by Fresh (duh!). I would also think the new Courvoisier scent probably falls into this category also, but I haven't smelled it.

I think that Halston's I-12 has a distinct gin note due to the juniper in it's heart notes--in fact, all fragrances with juniper (like Baie de Genievre) have a certain gin smell that I like a lot!
On a different note, I am SERIOUSLY tempted to wear Tanquaray's new "Rangpur" gin as an aftershave--infused with Rangur limes and ginger, this stuff smells great (and it makes a mean Gimlet, too)! I would hate to smell like a bowery bum, though.....

I always thought Paul Smith London was boozy smelling, but I'm too young to drink so I don't know exactly what to compare it to... although Brandy is listed as a note in it so...
I don't think I saw Fou d'Absinthe, Le Dandy, or Ambre Russe on the list. All three certainly belong there! Ayala Moriel's Rebellius also has a strong juniper berry (i.e. "gin") top note, which some may also experience as "boozy."

The top notes of L'Homme Sage by Divine smell very much like bourbon to me. And Set Sail Saint Barts has the tequila note, although I wouldn't categorize it as boozy per se.
Everyone is entitled to his own opinions, but not his own facts. Daniel Moynihan
Baldessarini Ambre. Leather and whisky. I have smelled of those two notes numerous times, but not due to a fragrance. I prefer the real deal.
Bois d'Ombrie, my SOTD opens with a pronounced Whiskey note that goes away rapidly.
I would agree with Paul Smith London. Also, to me Michael Kors for Men has a kinda boozy thing going on!
"Yo soy un hombre sincero de donde crece la palma, y antes de morirme, quiero echar mis versos del alma."
Bulgari Blu Notte (the girl's version) smells like a chocolate martini.
I've trademarked the color bleu
Y'all forgotten entirely about that booziest of the boozy, Escada for Men? It's not unlike bathing in spiced cognac!
Don't forget Liz Claiborne's Spark, either -- cheap and rummy stuff, that.
And yes, Richyac, one mustn't leave out that rum-covered confection known as Michael Kors for Men.

Peggy: "Right now, we have to get to the mental institution. Something terrible has happened."
Peggy: "Brother Boy has tried to kill himself. He jumped out of his bedroom window."
Latrelle: "Isn't he only on the second floor?"
Peggy: "Yes, but he hit his head on a lawn gnome."
Fr. Sordid Lives: The Series
"Live, live, live! Life is a banquet, and most poor suckers are starving to death."
Aramis Havana is loaded with rum!

I'm awaiting a bottle of Jean Paul Guerlain's new Spiritueuse Double Vanille. It's said to be a mix of old rum and vanilla. Can't wait for that smell!
