    Talking Need direction...again!

I have to start out by saying that I rarely post here BUT I LOVE THIS BOARD! I really admire everyone's knowledge and passion for perfumes and you've all been extremely helpful whenever I've posted. The last time, I was distraught because I could no longer find my favourite summer scent (Feu d'Issey -- the red bottle) and, lo and behold, a brilliant poster helped me out and I spent all summer smelling WONDERFUL (and a lot like Feu d'Issey!).

Well, I'm back for more help. Now that the fall is almost upon us (my favourite season!), it's time to switch scents. Last year, I wore Ambre Narguile and for many years before wore Angel (still like it but it's become WAY too common). While shopping this week, I came across Tea For Two....HEAVEN!! So here are my questions:

Is there a scent that combines the richness and warmth of an AN and the edginess of a Tea For Two?

I've read good thinks about Bvlgari Black. Thoughts?

I'm looking for something sensual and sweet but with an edge. Does that exist?

Black is a cold fragrance, some think it smells of rubber but I get amber from it.

Tea for Two started life as a candle by L'Artisan and people kept asking for a fragrance. It is more gingerbread sweet and amber.

Have you tried the L'Artizan Dzing!? It's fairly sweet, dark, and fun-lovingly edgy.

Bond No. 9's Nuits de Noho is similar to Angel, but with a pineapple top note.

Do keep us posted on your searching process.

I would suggest checking out DKNY Delicious Night. It may be close to what you're looking for. It definitely has a sensual edge to it.
Diva is fartin in your perfume mist before you walk through it!! Walk slow and let it marinate......

I haven't tried Dzing but i'm definitely going to get myself a sample tomorrow at the L'Artisan counter! Bond No.9 is almost impossible to find where i live (Canada)...so onto the list of decants to buy it goes! Will try to get my hands on it by the end of the week!

Thanks! I LOVE Gris Clair....I save it for cold rainy days (is that odd?!) and Un Bois Vanille also (which I save for lazy, sunny fall Sundays...) I've never heard of Ava Luxe. Will look them up

You could try some of these:

    Caron's Parfum Sacre
    Costume National Scent Intense
    Serge Lutens Ambre Sultan
    Dawn Spencer Hurwitz's Cimabue
    Diptyque's Eau Lente
    Idole de Lubin
    and of course, Musc Ravageur

Have a look at the reviews and see if any of these sound interesting.

I was going to suggest Ambre Sultan as well.
Miller Harris L'Air de Rien is an amber-vanilla-musk concoction that dries down very nicely.
Have you also tried Etro Palais Jamais? That's another tea fragrance.
Also, if you can find it, Angel in the extrait is so much nicer than the EDP, but it is pricey.
