Kouros, M7 or even Ungaro III
Okay it has to be strong as Leather tends to dillute the smell and presence of the fragrance so which is the best fragrance to have on when wearing a leather jacket?
Kouros, M7 or even Ungaro III

Montale Black Aoud works very well with a leather blazer. I suspect there are very things in this world that can dilute the smell and presence of Black Aoud.
For a motorcycle jacket, my favorites are CdG Garage and Le Labo Patchouli 24.

I will second the Ungaro III. It has a wonderful dark smell to it that would go perfect with good leather, and it's plenty powerful without being overpowering. Plus it's a quality fragrance that smells much more expensive than it is.
Discount and drug store fragrance trollop. http://www.basenotes.net/group.php?groupid=74
I second Black Aoud. Also:
Why veil the smell of the leather when you can enhance it?
I'd experiment a little with scents that have a leather note, but something extra as well.
"Minotaure" by Paloma Picasso has some great bitter orange, herbaceous notes with a fine leather base. Give that a spritz and see if you like where its going whilst wearing your leathers.
For me there is no better fragrance to wear with a leather jacket than that of a combination of Dior Homme and Bvlgari Black layered.

I second Black Aoud and would also add Armani and Quorum. These ones seem like they were meant to be worn with a leather jacket.
You are not your perfume.
Loewe's SOLO was born to be worn with a leather jacket.
(or any equestrian leather clothing for that matter)...
Michael for men by Michael kors
(wear these without your leather jacket as well!!)
I second M7, & suggest John Varvatos.
"Wait...is David Bowie really God?" - Penelope Garcia
so what was the choice you made?
These all sound good. How about Daim Blond, Tabac Blond, or Bandit?
"Like a lobster with a pearl in its claw, the beet held the jasmine firmly without crushing or obscuring it. Beet lifted jasmine, the way a bullnecked partner lifts a ballerina, and the pair came on stage on citron's fluty cue. As if jasmine were a collection of beautiful paintings, beet hung it in the galleries of the nose, insured it against fire or theft, threw a party to celebrate it. Citron mailed the invitations." What I am loving right now: Shalimar vintage extrait, Chanel Bois des Iles, Chanel no. 22, Le Labo Iris 39, Guerlain Iris Ganache
I like the idea of enhancing the natural leather scent. Cuir Mauresque by Serge Lutens would do that well.

Something really masculine. And testosterone-ish. A musk, maybe?

Someone once mentioned Z-14 smell's like a Carhartt jacket so that will be my bet.

I second the Dior Homme, and will add another that people will be surprised to hear from me, considering my fragrance-snobbiness!...
Tommy Hilfiger True Star! I know, I know, hold your fire! This scent is actually really good! It has a very prominent leather accord to it that isn't even listed in the notes. I can't figure out why, as all I smell is leather and citrus.
So ignore Enrique Inglesias, Tommy Hilfiger, and the stupid microphone-shaped bottle. Pour it out into a new one so you can appreciate it if you must! This scent is actually worth checking out.
Lately I've been wearing:
Windsor, Bois de Santal, Original Santal, Elixir, Douro, Endymion, Reflection, Arcus, Marwah
I totally stand beside M7. As a woman, I can't think of anything more leather-jacket coolness than this one. It's the good guy, the bad guy and the holy Harley Davidson motor all in one place.
M7 fresh is very good stuff as well.
Gucci pour Homme is does the magic for me too.
Also Habanita is a very leathery catch
I personally wear Cabochard with my leather jacket :-) Sometimes Diva (Ungaro), but this particular jacket I bought for Cabochard

Spark by Liz Claiborne
John Varvatos, Bulgari Extreme
I think you should wear Rochas Man and see how many weird stares you get
Chevignon Brand... preferably along with a leather blazer by Chevignon

Tabac sounds really suitable, what about Dior Homme?
unico grande amore.
I second Cabochard. I wear it with leather, too.
What about Comme des Garcons Series 6 Synthetic: Garage ??
I think I'd like a man in leather to smell like cars. That would be cool.
Cuiron is a good bet. Daring and suprisingly appropois is the gender bending Paco Rabanne La Nuit.

I agree with the musk. How about something really animalistic like Muscs Kublai Khan? That seems made for the bad boy look. Plus it's pure sex appeal anyway. When my husband wears that I can't keep away from him...next time I'll have to get him to put on his leather jacket....grrrrrr baby! I'd think I wouldn't want to cover up the natural leather smell with a fragrance that also smells like leather-I'd want to to enhance it and work with it and have the frag stand out on it's own without being a copycat. That's why a musk seems right to go with leather. Anyone else agree?
just got narciso rodriguez for him the other day, and it smells WONDERFUL with my leather jacket.
Baie de Genievre, Black Cashmere, Fumerie Turque.
i'd also agree with knize ten, michael, and maybe even quorum
At your service
this one is easy
or even some Body Kouros
Off-Site Decants =) (updated 05/16/12)
I would wade in with a good 80's leather powerhouse.....Fendi Uomo
The best fragrances I've tried thus far when wearing a leather jacket are:
Dolce & Gabana (M) [Excellent]
Any other suggestions?
Here are a few;
Paul Smith London
Check out my Fragrance Review Blog
Wishlist: Byredo Pulp, Creed Aventus, Montale Black Aoud, Original Santal, Dior Jules, Invasion Barbare, Pure Distance M
I'd definitely agree with the M7 recommendation.
If it's a black leather jacket, Narciso Rodriguez for him would go with the look amazingly, I think.
Iris Pallida 50ml
Ungaro I 75ml
and more! - http://www.basenotes.net/threads/301...n-Man-and-more
All good suggestions so far
But may I please add:
Nasomatto Duro - to my nose it's the essence of a brand new black leather jacket. UBER manly
