    Default Floris 89,i,m wrong?

Hi,this morning i received my decant of Floris 89,at love at first smell,is a cologne that defines the masculinity in terms of "old-school",but i find many similar with
Nº 88 C&S,and for me in some terms is a Bois de Portugal "light".
    I want ask:
you find similar this with nº 88? and a kind of Bois de Portugal "light"?

and that fragances you find similars with Floris 89?
and New York Nicolai is similar?

    thanks in advance

I dont think it smells like either....it reminds me kinda of englique encens by creed with a rose note...I dont think it smells like either of those...No 88 is darker and more rose...Bdp smells nothing like it IMHO

These are the notes for the fragrances in question:

    No. 88:
Sandalwood and Bergamot, Geranium, Rose Otto, Cassie, Frangipanni, Vetiver.

    No. 89:
    Top: Bergamot, Orange, Geranium, Nutmeg
Heart: Orange Blossom, herbal notes, rose, jasmin
    Base: oakmoss, cedar, sandalwood, vetiver

    No. 90...i.e. Bois du Portugal:
    Top: Bergamot, lavender
    Middle: cedar
    Base: vetiver, sandalwood, ambergris

Bois du Portugal is the most different. It contains powerful notes of smoky lavender and a sweet vetiver base which are not in no.88 and no. 89.

No, 88 and 89 have a fleeting similarity. Both have a floral component, but in the case of no. 89 theres a considerable fresh and spicy feel to the herbal floral accord while no. 88 has a deep and forceful rose-geranium-sandalwood accord which defines the fragrance.

    To say the least.

Isn`t 89 more in contact with some other classical citrus-chypre-oriental blends, such as Chanel PM and Ungaro 2..?
Well, yes it is, at least in my opinion.
