Default questions re:Lutens non-export, scent choice

    Hello,

I am somewhat new to the board and very much appreciate and enjoy reading your opinions and reviews.

Would anyone here please bring me up to date on what constitutes the current "non-export" scents in the Lutens line? I know that it changes annually as they switch a non-export over to export, but I've kind of lost track of where the whole situtation sits currently.

Also, I am female, but tend to like predominantly citrus, vetiver, green, woodsy-mossy, or softly spicy, non-floral scents. Again, regarding the Lutens line, both export and non, what would you recommend for someone with my preferences?

The two samples I have worn and enjoyed in this line are Fleurs d' Citronnier and Fleurs d' Oranger (sp?); I'm not very familiar with the other Lutens' scents. Thank you for any assistance!

    Hi,
your preferences don't seem to square too well woth the house style, which tends to be lusciously oriental rather than citrusy-green or non-floral. You might want to try Ambre Sultan, a wonderful spicy amber (perhaps in the Eau Fraiche Parfumée version, which smells like what most other houses would sell as an EdP), or the relatively safe cinnamon-woody Rousse. Vetyver Oriental is great if you care for gourmandy iris.

I think that's why it's taken me so long to get interested....these scents ultimately may not be for me, but then again, maybe it's time I expanded my horizons!
