Default "Chicago Pajamas" & other product ideas for perfumers

A recent thread evolved the phrase "Chicago Pajamas," and it suggested to some of us the ideal name for a new fragrance.

Chicago Pajamas connotes something warm and comforting (necessary for northern Illinois' Windy City) while maintaining some sophistication (after all, this is a world-class location we're name-dropping here). Do you have notes in mind for a fragrance of this name?

His Shirt is a name I always thought could label a sexy scent. The marketing's obvious: an otherwise naked woman wrapping herself in a man's shirt as she inhales deeply from its aura. Can you suggest notes you'd like to smell in a frag with this name?

Her Purse is an expression that brings to mind my mother's leather purse, which often held tear-out paper fragrance samples. Would you like a leather-based scent with a general perfumey head and heart?

I'm never going to mix my own frags, but would be happy to inspire others to run with ideas that speak to me and the masses. Do you have mental creations you'd like to nominate, too?

    Chicago Pyjamas

I see a snuggly base of amber, vanilla and musk nestling beneath a top of basil (representing the deep dish pizza), mandarin and windy ozone, and a supporting section of wheat notes (again with the pizza) and breezy blossoms.

A couple recent threads on the men's frags board about Christmas scents. I'd LOVE a frag with the following notes: fireplace smoke, fresh snow, coniferous trees, poinsettia, gingerbread, & apple cider .

Oh my God, that brings a delicious connotation to my mind. I used to bury my head and deeply huff the pillowcase scent that remained after a particularly beloved someone from my past had left for the day.

And musk would have to be a basenote.

and LOL on the Chicago Pajamas -- I saw that thread! Even a noob as nooby as I knows that Mandragore is a fragrance. sheeesh...
