    Wow,

It does sound nice. I am always amazed at the descriptions written about fragrances. The imagery they invoke!

My office a few--dangerous--blocks from luckyscent--I'll have to stop by and check it out! This sounds expensive.....

Wow...I am jealous, but probably thankful, that I cannot visit luckyscent (well in person anyway). Guys, if you stop by, sample Black Tourmaline - Olivier Durbano also.

I'll take the question in the subject line as rhetorical.

I like the description of the house as much as the perfume. As long as their passion for the art of perfumery is genuine, this passion should result in some well crafted scents.

If it isn't rhetorical I'd say it only stops when you stop wearing fragrance or you loose your sense of smell.

Well, I went and had a sniff and it is amazing--a trifle sweet but the woods are wonderful in this and the whole line seems like they are beautifully made, well thought out scents. Luckyscent scentbar is a great place to visit but VERY deep niche..... Sampled Lonestar Memories, though and love it--cowboy leather, sage and....creosote?

I wasn't a fan. It is a nice scent but it doesn't move me. I prefer Helianthe out of the three by a very small margin. To me, they are all just...pleasant. Nothing groundbreaking. 2.5 out of 5

Earlier this week, I sent an e-mail to this new house, asking for a sample of Fil de Soie. I've just received a lovely reply and should be receiving samples of this and Helianthe any day now.

I have just received the sample of Fil de Soie. It smells beautiful. Very soft and a little bit milky to my nose but in a masculine way. Try it. It smells very well crafted.
