    Default List of Abbreviations

It goes without saying that Basenotes is an inspiring and thoroughly pleasurable wealth of information. However, some of the terminology—in particular, the use of abbreviations—can be quite confusing to the newcomer and perfumed veteran alike. To help clarify matters, we have compiled a list of some common (and not so common) abbreviations one can find while browsing the forums on Basenotes.

Please note that this list is in no way exhaustive. Feel free to add any items that I have failed to include.

    Enjoy
