"Like a lobster with a pearl in its claw, the beet held the jasmine firmly without crushing or obscuring it. Beet lifted jasmine, the way a bullnecked partner lifts a ballerina, and the pair came on stage on citron's fluty cue. As if jasmine were a collection of beautiful paintings, beet hung it in the galleries of the nose, insured it against fire or theft, threw a party to celebrate it. Citron mailed the invitations." Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins p. 189

What I am loving right now: Shalimar vintage extrait, Chanel Bois des Iles, Chanel no. 22, Le Labo Iris 39, Guerlain Iris Ganache

    1. Luckily, I don't have a purchase that I regret! The one frag-related regret I have is selling my back-up bottle of Gaultier2. I have plenty to get me through the next months, but I have this tendency to hoard! This is challenging for me!

Not really a purchase, but a decant of SL's Bois de Miel from Sephora. I have heard of people feeling nauseous after applying a fragrance, but this is the first time it has happened to me. Cloying with only one spray.

^^ I think we have similar tastes! I've been dying to try Eau Sauvage FC, have been buying every violet frag that I could get my hands on (CB is on my list!), and am probably the only other person that loves Kelly C!

I can't believe so many people have no regrets...I buy stupid crap all the time and regret it!
