Question 2002 Creed SMW --- You think it would be stale?

I have read some previous threads on this issue and the opinion is divided. Some say fresher Creeds are better Creeds whereas others say that Creeds get better with time.

I would want to know if a 2002 boxed bottle of SMW would be a good Creed to buy or should i prefer newer stock?

I have a 2002 GIT, MI and they smell great but i haven't had a chance to compare them to the newer stock.

Can we generalize that older Creeds are better or do different Creeds behave differently as time passes.

Skip it I have a bottle of SMW that I bought in 2003 and it already is worlds different than a new bottle I've replaced it with. I think SMW might be a little more likely to turn than some others. No other Creed, etc I have has gained the same odd musty character that botte did.
