Default Some chili oil thoughts on Patou pour homme

Have been wearing a decant of Patou pour Homme for about 3 weeks now. I have read all the reviews and agree. One thing I did not find in those reviews was any negative comments on the 'hot chili pepper oil' essence that hits you at the start and gradually mellows. I find it too overpowering. I keep thinking about hot chili pepper flakes and oregano/pepper on a greasy pizza. Perhaps it's my body chemistry, perhaps it's the sample I got. What do y'all think about that chili oil - is it too overbearing?

I perceive a citrus and pepper (red) opening to Patou Pour Homme, but I experience them as well-integrated and not overbearing. These elements are nicely counterbalanced by the floral and sage elements. I find Patou Pour Homme very pleasing from start to finish.

So well blended that it doesn't distract me at all. Just adds a piquant touch on top of all that richness.
