Default Visiting the Scent Bar in LA...Any Must-Haves?

Lousy timing. I had booked a vacation package to Santa Monica a few weeks ago before the fires and will arrive the second week in November.

My heart goes out to the victims of this terrible tragedy.

I'm looking forward to visiting the Scent Bar and here's my question...I have the "usual suspects" from MPG, LV, Etro, Chanel, FM, LA, Clive Christian, KM,etc...is there any new "HOLY CRAP" NEW scents that I should look out for?

Well, as far as I know, it's the only place in the U.S. that you can smell the new Comme des Garcons LUXE Series - if those intrigue you.

Besides that, I'd say please check out the Profumum line of scents - if you can afford them, I think they're a consistently wonderful line and the quality is conservatively superior. My fav's are Acqua Viva (possibly the most tenacious lemon zest fragrance on the market), Santalum (read my thread about it), Olibanum, Thundra and many, many more.

Try the Courvoisier, Maestrale, Heeley... Heck, try it all--there is never anyone in there and they are happy to chat and dole out samples!

    Scent bar = luckyscent
