That this request has come up so many times before suggests a very real need. I can't think of any other feature off the top of my pointy little head that would do more to improve Basenotes.

I understand that a review editing function (or barring that, a repeat review option,) might be hard to engineer, but if Grant can manage I think it deserves serious consideration!

I'd be happy if you'd get your review checked up and published after a month, but I guess it's not the case.

If not an editing of existing Reviews then perhaps a delete function for existing Reviews and then an edited/corrected version could be re-introduced to the Reviews by the original author? That would also allow deletions of a double-entry review to those who inadvertantly posted the same review twice by accident.

We should be able to delete and rewrite them at any time. The way it's set up now creates a feeling of bondage. "You've already reviewed it? Well you're f*cked."

The desired option of deletion and full revision would give freedom, and if you feel free, you feel empowered. And every negative emotion that exists in this universe is because there is some loss of freedom.

    Couldn't agree more!

On a more selfish note, being trapped with my own ill-considered comments (not to mention spellling errors, typoos, and factual mis-statements,) is close to my personal vision of hell.

YES. I've composed a few reviews that I would definitely go back and edit.
