pg bois blond, it helps me imagine that i walk through a field of golden grain, in august, under a scorching sun, it's dry, it's hot, there's no shade, just a light breeze. never thought i wished for that, but after 4 months of continuous rain in london, this is what i want. have a good weekend everyone.
Yatagan (current formulation) on a cool and overcast day. I love these days. Sun is a bitch.

We had some downtime recently but let's hope that everything is fine now and that we won't have another break soon. The weather has changed here, it's quite cold and we have a mix of cloudy sky and sunny sky, in other words - typical Polish weather for summer.
I'm wearing Eau Pour Le Jeune Homme from Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier
Now I'm heading to the kitchen to bake a lemon cake. Have a good day (even thought it's "unlucky" Friday the 13th)

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."

..cuz someone mentioned it a few posts back.
And when you've been here a while? "Downtime" is a way of life. There was even a thread devoted to "What to do when BN is down."

Parfums de Nicolai New York
New York is an elegant, spicy, earthy scent that is guaranteed to appeal to those, who like me, like their citrus fragrances to have depth and a certain something indefinable that I like to call a kick, a twist, or a bite. Vetiver and thyme are apparent straightaway, the former earthy and green, the latter herbal and green, both très chic and coolly elegant. Then the citrus accord of bergamot and lemon kicks in, adding a fresh, bracing quality to the composition. After that- the best part- red-hot pimento spices up the blend.
Five that I am enjoying right now
1) Sel de Vetiver by The Different Company
2) Spiritueuse Double Vanille by Guerlain
3) Bois des Iles by Chanel
4) Devin by Aramis
5) Coromandel by Chanel
