    also try clicking the Basenotes logo at the top of evey page here. Besides the bottom of the page which lists most popular scents (and they have been since I joined) there are always articles.

    Using the directory to read reviews often leads you to another house or family of scents.

    Slowly you spiral down digging into the works of the place and use search and as God as my witness no I don't know why random fragrance is part of search but it's a lot of fun.

    Get lots of credit cards because this will allow you to establish a great line of credit (provided you pay your monthly bill)

    You'll need a seperate refrigerator and really cool display shelves.

    if I think of anything else I'll edit this.

    For sheer historical purposes, could I add Creed's Royal English Leather, and Dana's Canoe? One of the oldest niche fragrances around, and one of the oldest mass-marketed fragrances around.

    I like the idea about the display shelves... have to invest in some of those!

    And GYMMCNAIR I would love to try Royal English Leather... maybe Ill get a decant?
