Default Meeting Clinton, what would you wear?

So the ex-President Clinton is in town today to sign copies of his new book entitled "Giving".

My question to all is what would you wear if you were to meet the leader of "your country"?

I'm thinking of putting on Rose31.

My follow up question is what do you think that your "leader" wears (if anything at all)?

As for the Clinton, I'm thinking perhaps "Agent Provocateur" (just kidding).

I'd stay away from Muscs Koublaï Khän.
It's been said that politicians wear Gendarme as it offends no one.

There are a lot of good choices in your wardrobe. It would be hard to choose but I would probably go with Ambre Sultan. I consider it appropriate for just about any occasion - even former Presidents.

I'm in the belief that I shouldn't wear anything too strong (such as Ruggles has already stated with MKK), and that's why I won't be wearing my Montale Black.

Gendarme on the Pres? I'm not sure how much time he'll have to answer questions (I've heard that he's signing books with one hand and shaken hands w/ the other, and that makes sense since I think that I remember that he is left-handed). I was planning on stating that he would be living in the White House for 16 years . and that would be a record, but maybe I'll ask him what he usually wears.

Jaipur is in your wardrobe, it has sillage and it is very classy, why not? You want him to notice you, right? Asking him what fragrance he wears would be a great follow up to the boxers or briefs question from his appearances on MTV.

As always, disregard most of what I say. It's not worth your heart health to actually worry about what a 23 year old guy from Kansas thinks. Even if he is really ridiculously good looking.

I'm not sure what Bill wears, but I've heard that this is Dubya's signature scent:

I agree with what AJMC said-- go with something with a really strong cigar note-- and make it REALLY obvious what you're doing. He'll undoubtedly know what you're up to and he might think it's funny. Hell, I'd go out and find a bottle of that cologne called "Cigar Afficionado." It was put out by the same company that had that magazine of the same name. I hated the scent, but it smelled like a big fat cigar.

Or if you're just in a rush, sit in your car for ten minutes puffing on Swisher Sweets before you go in to meet him. Dude, I'd SO do that. My dad got to meet Clinton one time and he was such a phony. My dad that is. lol.

You could always do a huge bong rip in your car with the windows rolled up... throw on some Cannabis Santal to try to mask the smell... shake his hand and say "Hey, I didn't inhale either..."

    I LOVE Bill!!!

Seriously though, you've got some really nice ones in your wardrobe... I'd go with Terre d'Hermès or a light spraying of your classic Armani Eau Pour Homme (1984).
It'd be interesting to find out what he's wearing.

Dubya wore Gendarme, too. Those presidents need to be more original, they must have had the same beauty consultant at the White House. Maybe if they inhaled they'd come up with some better ideas.

For Clinton it is about beeing you - honest and in keeping with yourself

I would wear what I wear everyday - JF Floris - in keeping I think !!

However if it is true that Mrs Clitnon is wearing Angel - I would not be able to meet her - she is wearing my worst nightmare !!!

Where is all the business about what presidents wear written or talked about? Just curious. I would think they'd wear nothing, as it is generally a president's job not to offend anyone.

I liked your first instinct, Rose 31.
What DID you wear? How was it?
"Like a lobster with a pearl in its claw, the beet held the jasmine firmly without crushing or obscuring it. Beet lifted jasmine, the way a bullnecked partner lifts a ballerina, and the pair came on stage on citron's fluty cue. As if jasmine were a collection of beautiful paintings, beet hung it in the galleries of the nose, insured it against fire or theft, threw a party to celebrate it. Citron mailed the invitations."
