    Default Ellena's Minimalist Masterpieces

Jean Claude Ellena has created many minimalist perfumes that are considered masterpieces. Choose the one you consider his best creation.

One question ... why didn't Poivre Samarcande make the list?

I know it's difficult and sometimes pointless to make a 100% complete poll, but The Different Company fragrances should be there. Especially Rose Poivree and Bois d'Iris.

Anyhow; the first three niche fragrances I ever tried, some four years ago, were Bigarade Concentree, L'Eau de Hiver and Angeliques sous la Pluie. I still like all three very much, and remember the day I sampled these like it was yestarday. That was one of the defining moments of my fragrance hobby - I was so excited. I knew I had to explore the niche world. I am still on that road. After that, most JCE scents have been very dissapointing to me.

Extremely hard poll for me - I love many of JCE's scents. From your list, I pick: Ambre Narguile.

BTW Lucius - Ellena did not create Concentree Eau d'Orange Verte for Hermes. That was Jean Guichard.
