Xyrena Aaliyah: It’s not a bad fragrance either, but it’s nothing great.

I’m also not sure if anyone owns Xyrena Dark Ride, the waterpark scent of chlorine, vinyl tubing, and gasoline.

And the original Wu Tang Clan fragrance. I have two unopened bottles. I’m really curious to see what it smells like, but don’t want to open the bottle.

And a more normal fragrance that it’s posdible no one else has is GrigioPerla La Perla, a nice barbershop fougere.

Not sure if others have it, but I might be the only one. It is actually quite good. Really good. A bit mature - along the lines of Nicolai - New York or Creed Bois du Portugal.

    Scriabin in The Himalayas

Someone on Basenotes may own this one too, but its pretty exclusive.

    Limited Edition to 200. $1000/30ml.
Fresh incense and delicate white florals with a really great, full sandalwood.
Could be thought of as a Comme des Garcons fragrance.

    From Wikipedia:

Mysterium is an unfinished musical work by composer Alexander Scriabin. He started working on the composition in 1903, but left it incomplete when he died in 1915. Scriabin planned that the work would be synesthetic, exploiting the senses of smell and touch as well as hearing. He wrote that

"There will not be a single spectator. All will be participants. The work requires special people, special artists and a completely new culture. The cast of performers includes an orchestra, a large mixed choir, an instrument with visual effects, dancers, a procession, incense, and rhythmic textural articulation. The cathedral in which it will take place will not be of one single type of stone but will continually change with the atmosphere and motion of the Mysterium. This will be done with the aid of mists and lights, which will modify the architectural contours."
Scriabin intended the performance to be in the foothills of the Himalayas in India, a week-long event that would be followed by the end of the world and the replacement of the human race with "nobler beings".

At the time of his death, Scriabin had sketched 72 pages of a prelude to the Mysterium, entitled Prefatory Action. Alexander Nemtin spent 28 years reforming this sketch into a three-hour-long work, which was eventually recorded.

In my time on basenotes I have never seen Boellis Panama 1924 - Daytona mentioned. I own it and love it. Think Aventus top notes minus the drydown which I don't like and you are in the ballpark with Daytona. Great in the summer

    This stuff really cost $1000?

I don't think I paid 1K - i bought it from a well respected BN here. It's more of a peaceful scent imho than the action packed type.

Getting a dental flouride treatment at a busy nail salon, staring at plastic flowers in the window, and having Windex sprayed in your face. Nearby, someone is taking a Dremel to a thick piece of aluminum.

    In SPACE!
