"Are you a man?"
"Then what are you?"

hi everyone! The beautiful Bois Farine from L'Artisan today.
Not been here much recently - my mother-in-law died suddenly 3 weeks ago and we are gutted that she won't be here to meet her first grand-daughter in January. It seems so unfair. I have been living in comforting vanilla and almond scents for the last few weeks.
Look after yourselves.
"I don't know the key to success,
but the key to failure is trying to please everybody."
Thanks for all the get well wishes I have another appointment tomorrow morning...My mom scared me a little by saying if it doesn't get treated I can get blinde:O Well, now at least I know what to do the next time I feel the same pressure in my eye(it will happen again aparantly..)

Ineespenes, feel better soon.
"Like a lobster with a pearl in its claw, the beet held the jasmine firmly without crushing or obscuring it. Beet lifted jasmine, the way a bullnecked partner lifts a ballerina, and the pair came on stage on citron's fluty cue. As if jasmine were a collection of beautiful paintings, beet hung it in the galleries of the nose, insured it against fire or theft, threw a party to celebrate it. Citron mailed the invitations." Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins p. 189
What I am loving right now: Shalimar vintage extrait, Chanel Bois des Iles, Chanel no. 22, Le Labo Iris 39, Guerlain Iris Ganache
Mandorlo form Acqua di Parma's Blue Ned Line.
More warm wishes to Ineespenes. Take care of yourself, dear!
And peace to our purplebird; the review showed more enthusiasm than accuracy or something was lost in translation. As far as I know, 1000 is alive and well.
Anyway- lots of testing of late (just fell for Miss Dior) and wearing a lot of Eau d’Random Decanting. In Pom Noire this afternoon.
And Tao-sugar. You smell amazing. Why is it on the bottom shelf?

L'or De Torrente :bounce: Vanilla + incense = YUMSTERS!
Can't speak for Touti007 (and apparently neither can she, since she has not posted at all since joining in January of this year!)....I think her English couldn't keep up with her feelings but quoted her review in entirety because I was touched by her passion of for this beautiful fragrance - SO French.
(I could have quoted YOUR most excellent review of course....anyone who hasn't read it should!)
