Default Fictional heroines - what scent would they wear?

Was going over a list of famous fictional heroines (novels, opera, the stage) for my women's studies course, and started wondering what perfume do I think of them wearing - or if they were real women what would they choose today?

I have lots of favorite females and femme fatales on my list - so I 'll post a few and see if you can "give them a scent".

Miss Elizabeth Bennet ( Jane Austin- Pride and Prejudice)

Hester Prynne ( Hawthone - The Scarlet Letter)

    Jane Eyre ( Charlotte Bronte)

    Carmen (Bizet)

Scheherazade (Persian tales - a Thousand and One Nights)

    Camille "Marguerite Gautier" (Alexandre Dumas)

Scarlett O'Hara (Gone With the Wind)

Liza Doolittle (My Fair Lady) before and after her transformation

    Auntie Mame (Patrick Dennis)

    Maria (West Side Story)

Morgaine (The Mists of Avalon - Marion Zimmer Bradley)

you ladies are great - have sent me running to the database to identify the notes in perfumes you have mentioned that I am unfamiliar with!

And Divatologist - thanks for a great contemporary list.

    Keep them coming.
