Default Anyone here own Antico Caruso?

I used to be a huge fan of Le Male but somehow over the years my nose became extremely sensitive to it and now it gives me a headache everytime I smell it. I still like it, but I can't get over the harshness of the opening. How similar is Antico Caruso, and is it as harsh?

And most importantly, how is the longevity? I'm hoping for this to be my signature scent for the winter (London weather).

I don't find AC harsh at all. It's mostly an almond-based scent with some sandalwood. Longevity is excellent; it easily lasts all day on me.

Some parallels to Le Male. Much, much higher quality ingredients. Le Male is one the most synthetic smelling fragrances out there. AC is a more grown up, classy, nuanced, refined option.

Sounds very similar to the description given to Amouage Reflection Man. I wonder if they're similar.

How is longevity for you with AC, particularly during the winter?

    Longevity is fine.

    All of the above.

I only wear it in cooler weather, it's not complicated, the longevity is good.

It's not like Reflection Man at all. And Reflection Man is not like Le Male whatever anyone tells you.

I don't think it's similar to Reflection. Yes, a good almond soothing scent with decent longevity. If I should find a comparison, it would be perhaps Penhaligon's Sartorial.
