Default SotD Sunday November 18, 2007

Wakey wakey rise and shine everyone! Nah of course not, it's a Sunday Haha it's about 9.45pm here and yet there's no SotD thread yet! My turn again then.

I'm now wearing Cinema Festival D'ete. In the morning I combined 3 pink, tacky celebrity fragrances and ended up smelling like fruit cocktails and icing sugar. I suppose it matched my tacky pink nails (a few days ago my friend decided to paint my nails fluorescent pink to match hers! uhohs! :P).

Anyway enough of my rambling, have a great day everyone!

You're my kind of girl, Jillsy Baby!! Was tempted to go for Pink Sugar with Fantasy and Miami Glo to match your mood when I discovered that my one and only sample of Ambre Sultan had leaked all over the satin sample box without me ever having had a chance to spread it all over my beautiful bod.

    Waaah!

Take care Ineespenes!!!! We want to have you be able to see the computer for many years to come! Are you able to treat the condition, or is this one of those "wait it out" sort of deals?

Despite the crisp fall weather, I am testing the last bits of Creed Green Valley (thanks, RentBoy!). I smell completely out-of-season, like I've just returned from New Zealand (where I do believe they are firmly into Spring)... All sunny, sparkling citrus and grass/mint/moss. I don't usually think of Creeds as "happy" fragrances, but I think this one is! I'll need to drag GV out in the depths of January, and again when the warm weather hits here.

It’s thought that people who hope too much will just waste their life away and never get down to doing any real work. They’re confusing Hope with Wish, its lazy cousin... When Wish whispers, “Something is just around the corner,” what comes or not is never what was wished for. When Hope whispers “Something is just around the corner,” something always is. -- Charlie Elberson

Sorry, ineespenes. Haven't the doctors done anything for you yet?
A doctor explained to me: the mucous membrane is one, continuous tissue throughout the eyes, nose (sinus), and throat. Eye infections can originate anywhere along that route. Systemtic antibiotics (oral or injection) are necessary.
I will wear Mitsouko today again.
And Crystal Noir is my favorite Versace.

Tested Immortelle L"Amour by Ayala Moriel this morning.
Very warm and even though no chocolate is listed, it reminded me of pure dark organic chocolate, not sweet, but dark and warm, and with something that reminds me of the autumn woods in the drydown.
Gourmand, but not overly sweet and therefore wearable. A definite comfort scent. Those who love Angel should really give this one a try.

Now back in Bandit for the day. I need some freedom of spirit before the new work week begins tomorrow. I'll be working straight through the holiday. Perhaps I should wear Immortelle L'Amour on Thanksgiving.
"Like a lobster with a pearl in its claw, the beet held the jasmine firmly without crushing or obscuring it. Beet lifted jasmine, the way a bullnecked partner lifts a ballerina, and the pair came on stage on citron's fluty cue. As if jasmine were a collection of beautiful paintings, beet hung it in the galleries of the nose, insured it against fire or theft, threw a party to celebrate it. Citron mailed the invitations." Ineespenes, I am so sorry about your eye - I hope it heals soon and is no symptom for the spondylitis your mum has. Hugs and good vibes are headed your way.

Lazy sunday with multiple testing....I wore Paco Rabanne Black XS for a while but wasn't satisfied at all.
Feeling better now, after a shower and a generous dose of L'Erbolario Iris liquid talc . I might spritz on also some FM Iris Poudre.
