Bad night's sleep so needed something zingy to wake me up. Coney Island today, then.
Despite my dislike of mint generally, I am wearing and enjoying Jo Malone's new White Jasmine and Mint cologne. I have not combined it today, I'd rather wear it for a day or two to see how much I like it on its own, and how long it will last.
I am wearing Fracas (perfume)
Has to be Black Cashmere today after being inspired yesterday by Mad Scientist.
Hope everyone has a good day.

The fragrance of flowers spreads only in the direction of the wind. But the goodness of a person spreads in all directions.

Testing a sample vial of Juliette Has a Gun Lady Vengeance. "A very thorny Bulgarian rose marries patchouli and vanilla."
I think it's *very* nicely executed, though (so far) to my nose it's not as interesting as Rosine's Rose d'Homme, which is probably my favorite rose-based scent, along with Paloma Picasso. I may need to put Lady Vengeance on my wishlist anyhow, because in addition to being quite a nice fragrance, the name is fantastic.
It’s thought that people who hope too much will just waste their life away and never get down to doing any real work. They’re confusing Hope with Wish, its lazy cousin... When Wish whispers, “Something is just around the corner,” what comes or not is never what was wished for. When Hope whispers “Something is just around the corner,” something always is. -- Charlie Elberson
My sale thread has some of my underappreciated fragrances looking for a good, new home...
"Like a lobster with a pearl in its claw, the beet held the jasmine firmly without crushing or obscuring it. Beet lifted jasmine, the way a bullnecked partner lifts a ballerina, and the pair came on stage on citron's fluty cue. As if jasmine were a collection of beautiful paintings, beet hung it in the galleries of the nose, insured it against fire or theft, threw a party to celebrate it. Citron mailed the invitations." I need a good list of do-not-wear fragrances for work.
I'm hung over from a very late night of meteor watching-- the Leonid. It was clear for the first 15 minutes I was out-- then got all overcast and misty! BOO! I saw three, and while I was hoping the mist would blow over I went to sleep on the ground. My napping fragrance is Bois Farine.
Please, spritz responsibly.
And a stiff neck, too, Shycat? Known in the astronomy world as "meteor neck."
NO FRAGRANCE right now. Got 10 places to stop on my round of errands, and location #4 is Mayfair Mall (Sephora, Macy's, Gap, B&BW, etc.). Hope to report useful news after browsing.
