I had similar a story than yours except that I was away for almost a year.. And at that time I wore Unforgivable. Of course that was PreBasenotes... right now I would wear something fresh but with a hint of maturity... M7 Fresh? Givenchy Pour Homme? Yang? Bulgari Black? Guerlain Vetiver? Perhaps John Varvatos...
That is it, Ungaro III or envy!

Congrats! What a great opportunity to surprise your pals!

Id choose something bold, sharp and commanding (and not overtly "mature")...

    CHANEL Platinum Egoiste!

Well done on the weight loss mate great work!

I would wear Rive Gauche (wearing it today and I always love it more everytime)

I like Dimitri's choice of Platinum Egoiste too for a fresher sparkling touch.

Now that you lost 30 pounds you deserve chosing a smell you really like youself and enjoying it. I agree with good recommendations above, and can post whole list, but unless you are looking for something specific, I really suggest that you spend time in perfume store and test many things and enjoy the process.

First of all, I'd like to welcome you to Basenotes.

I hope that you enjoy our little group and make some good friends here.

I don't why, but something pulled me to recommend these for you:

    1. ZegnaIntenso
    2. John Varvatos
    3. Narciso Rodriguez for Him
    4. Terre d'Hermes
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and sorry I could not travel both and be one traveler, long I stood and looked down one as far as I could to where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, ...... I shall be telling this with a sigh somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -- I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. - Robert Frost

Why not go with something new to reflect your up to date self? Something released in the last year or so. Some good scents from this period.

Thanx guys I appreciate all your recommendation

I’ve tried Platinum Egoiste it was great but somehow common to my nose

All written frags are great but I couldn’t come up with something better than:

    Rive Gauche pour Homme Intense

I hope it is great enought!
