Smile Ambre Sultan or Fougere Bengale?

OK, I'm trying decide which fragrance to purchase next and trying to decide between Serge Lutens Ambre Sultan or Fougere Bengale by Parfum D'Empire. I have to say they're pretty similar but I can't decide which one I like best. If it were you, which would you purchase and why? Many thanks...

That's a tough one. A lot of Ambre Sultan fans here on basenotes. I don't dislike Ambre Sultan, it just doesn't float my boat enough to purchase. Fougere Bengale on the other hand does float my boat and gets my vote. I bought a bottle and really enjoy wearing it.

Get Ambre Sultan! Fougere Bengale smells similar to several scents, for instance Lolita Lempicka M.

Yep, I already have Chergui. Smart suggestion. After wearing Fougere Bengale last night and experiencing the dry down I think I'm going for the Ambre Sultan. Can always pick up FB later, right?
