Default Colorful, Utilitarian Containers for Organizing Samples/Decants!

This may be old news to those of you in medical fields, but googling for items such as "micro centrifuge racks" produces wonderful results for those of us who love to finger our vials (steady, steady now) on a regular basis.

In addition to being sturdy and available in a number of colors, these medical supplies can handle the heat/sterilization of an autoclave, so you can be brutal about washing them if you spill a raucous fragrance.

    Bunch of rack options:

    My favorite for sheer versatility:

oooh what an awesome idea! Thanks Quarry.

    Here's a really low-$$ option: Ammo cases!

Here's just one vendor, but Googling will bring up many. (no affiliation, of course)

I like these beautiful Lang stack boxes to store beauty items in, but I'd need something smaller like the bullet or soap cases to organize groups of samples, too.

I decided to trash all my old ones, many have turned and some were even sent to me that way. I'm just too lazy to go through them all right now, but I keep trying them and nasty!

I have two of these acrylic lipstick holders to organize samples (one for the untried and one for the undecided). Each section will hold up to about a dozen 1 ml vials or one 10 ml decant. I try to keep them roughly alphabetized.

This artist's carousel is nice, too, except the wells might be too deep.

It'd be neat to find/build something akin to the perfumer's organ where you could see all your samples and decants facing you like an audience sitting in a stadium.

It would probably be easy to make one with some blocks of wood and a drill.

Ah, but just "holes" are not sufficient. This organizer must be extra special. It must possess flair. And, after spending about 67 hours thinking about this, I believe I've arrived at the perfect design: stylish and elegant, portable, secure, and highly functional for display and sorting. Stay tuned. With hubby's help, I will make the "big reveal" once my plans go from brain to being.
