    Default Good Dark, Mysterious Fragrances?

I need a good dark and mysterious fragrance but still with a little to moderate amount of sweet. I currently have M7 and like it for the mystery but don't think it is anywhere near strong enough. I also have Vera Wang for Men and absolutely LOVE it. I also have Very Sexy for Him 2 but think it is too dark and generic smelling. Anything along those lines that is strong and lasts? I am open to suggestions. Thanks

    Dark?
    Perhaps, Salvador Dali PH.
But still I would be interested of what "dark" is. To me Ungaro III is as bright, if not more than say, D&G ph or Cuerlain VEtyver.

Dark and moody, but with sweet undertones...
Then its Czech and Speake's No.88, and Costume National's Scent Intense you seek.

I think I'm missing the point with Ungaro III, I've heard it described as dark, brooding, gothic, even boozy, i had a picture in my mind of what it would be like and all I got was wet roses

Obsession for Men, Very Valention for Men, Passion for Men.

Dark, semi-sweet, smooth, spicey, somewhat brooding, all very sexy.

All well available too, but none are worn as much by the unthinking majority as they each once were. Which is a good thing.

John Varvatos and Burberry London, both turn pretty creamy and mysterious smelling on me.. not so dark but absolutely delectable, with a rich creamy and intoxicating sweetness .. Aigner Black is pretty dark on me.. not so sweet but dark and musky .. sexy! ..you can also give Pomegranate Noir a try

    Black Orchid by Tom Ford

Tom Ford did M7 when he was at YSL (which you mentioned) - but Black Orchid is an entirely different animal. The longevity and sillage are incredible.

I second the Black Orchid, though it might come across as too sweet at first, but wait a little while, and gets more moderate. I really start to like it more and more!!

I can think of many, but one that comes to mind right now is a frag whose very name is the antithesis of dark -- Lux, by Mona di Orio. It may be named for light, and may have tons of lemon and petitgrain, but to me this is a very Victorian, very opulent, very Continental, very dense frag that I can't help but associate with panelled librarie, velvet drapes and a very dark, formal home somewhere a century ago.
