From the ones that I own :

    John Varvatos
    Burberry London
Aigner Black (Both for Men and for Women)
    YSL L'Homme
    cK BE
    Hugo Boss Selection (!)

...are the ones I get complimented on the most.

I also have gotten TWO compliments each on Dior Homme, Cool Water and Fendi's Life Essence

Hugo Boss Selection, huh? I just bought a set of that at TJ Maxx. Smells pretty good. I'll wear it soon.

Yeah.. I loved it when I tested it on paper and bought it based on that experience.. I still like it, but the only problem I have with it is that it evolves to smell just like any other Hugo Boss cologne out there... (except Baldessarini.. that's in a different league altogether )

Yes, I had the same experience. The top and even the middle are quite good, but somehow it turns in the end to the too well famous Boss notes. Sorry for that.

From my sniff test, it does indeed remind me of both Baldessarini Ambre and Baldessarini. A "soft orange afterglow".
